I already here told about Santorini quite a lot. Everyone should already know a little something about this island and its cities. At the same time there also exists certain aspect which not yet I mentioned and to which Greeks oneself so easily won’t admit. Here about, constant, centuries-old Athens Santorini rivalry means.
First of all this rivalry concerns the topic of the region given to attraction for tourists as well as putting it, as well as of the importance for very Greeks. The Athens wants to be eternally living, most beautiful, most often frequented, simply overpopulated with tourists. Santorini also has such plans. At the same time it is not only its appearance, the building development and Santorini character of Greek character, but at the same time also a bit has from character of Turkish. With it among others is also annoying the Athens.
One should admit that Athens Santorini will never end. It walks here for taking away from oneself customers, tourists, interesting Greeks also which recently relative to the Athens a bit is weakening since they are already comparatively known and simply trite. Santorini still is enrapturing. This island as well as its towns still are fresh, still not very well get to know, covered. At the same time they differ from the rest of Greece therefore this way many tourists still arrive in this place in order to admire them constantly anew. At the same time personally I think, that both the Athens and Santorini, are meriting attention. By myself I admired Santorini and directly I fell in love with them. Certainly there I will be leaving this way, often how it will give itself. Essentially I already started it to learn Greek language. Most probably soon I will start seeking some familiar on Santorini so that practise this language and are perhaps at one time there I will move.
